Scope & Pricing Variability

Due to Alaska construction conditions, remote logistics, material variability, and concealed site conditions:

✔ Final pricing may differ from initial estimates

✔ Additional work may be required

✔ Change orders may be necessary

SMS communications do not override formal contract terms.

Invoices & Payment Notifications

Invoices delivered via SMS are considered valid business communications.

Failure to receive a text message does not relieve payment obligations.

Customers remain responsible for:

✔ Monitoring invoices

✔ Payment deadlines

✔ Contract terms

Carrier & Delivery Limitations

The Company is not responsible for:

✔ Delayed delivery

✔ Carrier filtering

✔ Network failure

✔ Device issues

Security & Sensitive Information Warning

Text messaging is not a guaranteed secure channel.

Customers should not transmit via SMS:

• Credit card numbers

• Banking information

• Social security numbers

• Sensitive personal data

Change Orders & Scope Modifications

Project scope, pricing, and timelines may require modification due to:

✔ Concealed conditions

✔ Site discoveries

✔ Customer-requested revisions

✔ Material availability

✔ Code or safety requirements

Such modifications are considered Change Orders.

SMS Change Order Communications

The Company may communicate Change Orders via text messaging for convenience.

Customers acknowledge:

✔ SMS is an informal communication method

✔ Scope discussions via SMS are preliminary

✔ Pricing adjustments require formal approval

Non-Automatic Authorization

Discussion of additional work via SMS does not authorize work.

Authorization occurs only when:

✔ Customer provides clear approval

✔ Pricing adjustments are acknowledged

✔ Company confirms acceptance

Approval by Text Message

Text-based approval may be accepted as authorization to proceed.

By approving via SMS, customer agrees:

Pricing & Labor Variability

Due to Alaska construction conditions:

✔ Labor requirements may change

✔ Material costs may fluctuate

✔ Access / logistics may impact pricing

All Change Orders are subject to reasonable & necessary cost adjustments.

Binding Effect of Approved Change Orders

Once approved, Change Orders:

✔ Become part of the project agreement

✔ Modify original pricing / scope

✔ Are enforceable

Refusal of Additional Work

Customers may decline Change Orders.

Declined Change Orders may result in:

✔ Project limitations

✔ Schedule impacts

✔ Incomplete work conditions

Scheduling & Access Requirements

Customers agree to provide safe, timely access to the project site at scheduled appointment times.

Failure to provide access may result in additional charges.

Missed Appointment Definition

A missed appointment includes:

✔ Customer not present

✔ Site inaccessible

✔ Unsafe working conditions

✔ Utilities unavailable

✔ Pets / hazards preventing entry

✔ Customer cancellation outside notice period

Trip Charge Assessment

The Company reserves the right to assess a Trip Charge when:

✔ Technician arrives as scheduled

✔ Work cannot proceed due to customer-related conditions

Trip Charges compensate for:

• Travel time

• Labor allocation

• Vehicle costs

• Lost scheduling opportunities

Standard Trip Charge

Trip Charge: $_____

(or specify hourly equivalent)

✔ Applied per occurrence

✔ Billable immediately

✔ May be invoiced separately

Cancellation Notice Requirement

Customers must provide cancellation notice:

✔ Minimum ___ hours prior to appointment

Failure to provide notice may trigger Trip Charge.

Alaska Operational Conditions

Due to Alaska logistics, travel distances, weather variability, and limited scheduling capacity:

✔ Missed appointments create substantial operational losses

✔ Trip Charges are considered reasonable & necessary cost recovery

Non-Waiver Clause

Failure to enforce Trip Charges in one instance does not waive future enforcement rights.
